What started out as an idea that McCormack built a team around and raised capital for has become exactly what he envisaged. Being the disruptive equivalent of Twenty20 Cricket for Triathlon, Super League Triathlon’s pilot season ended with a 3 year PE funding commitment to the series and international TV rights deals secured on every continent, making SLT the most successful Sports Start Up for 2016.
Along with a new production and distribution partnership with IMG and then Sunset and Vine along with the establishment of a global qualification series for professional athletes and a community-driven mass participation arm, Super League Triathlon has seen exponential growth and valuation over a very short period of time. With our new headquarters set up in London and operations still existing in Singapore, the expansion has been significant to meet with the growing demand and popularity of the new face of the sport.
